We are proud to announce that the University of Idaho has been awarded a new contract through the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare to continue the work of the IdahoSTARS Project.

“This award reflects more than two decades of partnership with Idaho’s child care community,” said Melissa Crist, Director of Early Childhood Programs at the University of Idaho’s Idaho Center on Disabilities and Human Development, in a U of I news release. “It also recognizes the strong, statewide infrastructure built by the IdahoSTARS project that child care providers, families and our state partners rely on today.”

IdahoSTARS staff members across Idaho are grateful for the opportunity to continue supporting Idaho’s children, families, and child care professionals through our many programs and services, including:

• Provider Management of State Child Care Licensing and the Idaho Child Care Program
• Quality Improvement
• Professional Development
• Child Care Referrals
• Early Childhood Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (EC-PBIS)
