In this training, you'll learn about the importance of Active Supervision. Families rely on child care providers to keep their children safe and cared for. Active supervision is a powerful tool to keep children safe. It is an active process in which adults use intentional strategies to protect children from harm. It involves watching, listening, interacting, monitoring, and preventing problems. 

  • If you are required to take ICCP annual training, it's on your dashboard in RISE. 
  • If you are not required to take it, but are interested in it, please go to our training catalog and search by filtering OnDemand trainings and search for the title Active Supervision. 
  • There will be a live webinar on August 26th(6-8 pm PT/7-9 pm MT), look on the training calendar in RISE for more details and to sign up.
